3D Animation Artist

Join our animation team to create 3D key frame animations for in-game use.

  • Art major or relevant experience.
  • Drawing skills in Photoshop highly recommended.
  • Capable of producing “game ready” concepts for creatures, player avatars, architecture, objects, and environments.
  • Experience working with a game engine and implementing 3D animations into the game.
  • Ability to learn moderately technical tools quickly.
  • Understanding of the 3D modeling process is an asset.
  • Must be able to work under tight schedules and reliably hit milestones.
  • Motion Capture cleanup experience is an advantage.

3D Artist

Create high quality 3D art assets for use in games.

  • Art major or relevant experience.
  • Portfolio demonstrating strong 3d modeling competency.
  • Strong capability on finishing characters, props, vehicles, etc.
  • Extensive working knowledge of Maya or 3D Studio Max and Photoshop.
  • Experience in other modeling and texturing software is an advantage.
  • Be passionate about the game industry.

Art Director

As an art director you will lead, manage and mentor a team of 20 – 40 3D or 2D artists and ensure the quality of their work. Typically you will work on 2 – 3 different projects simultaneously. You will assist recruitment and training of new talent. The art directors at Red Hot reports directly to the CEO.

Requirements:

  • Excellent proficiency in either 2D or 3D standard industry software such as: 3DS Max/Maya, Photoshop, Substance Designer, nDO/dDO.
  • Expert artistic skills.
  • Previous experience in game productions.
  • At least 5 years of experience as team leader or equivalent.
  • Fluency Mandarin and English is desired.
  • Diligent personality, meticulous eye for details and enthusiastic leader and mentor.

Concept Artist

Join our concept art team and visualize ideas, or create stunning 2d artwork for upcoming game productions. You will report directly to the art director.

Requirements:

  • Art major or relevant experience.
  • Strong concept art portfolio.
  • Excellent proficiency in Photoshop.
  • Able to learn moderately technical tools quickly.
  • Good understanding of the 3D modeling process.
  • Able to work reliably within schedules.

Producer

As producer you will support the art teams to perform efficiently in their ongoing projects. You will manage the company’s resources in close collaboration with the art directors and ensure schedules and deadlines are met. Interface with international clients and support the bidding process. The producer reports to the executive producer.

Requirements:

  • Experience in using industry standard project management software and tools.
  • At least 3 years of experience in project management or an equivalent field.
  • Good understanding of the video game and art production process.
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English, additional language is a plus.
  • Diligent, positive and very organized personality.

Technical Artist

As  technical artist you will develop tools and scripts to aid art asset creation and optimization. You will also prepare art assets for game systems and engines to ensure that our client’s quality standards are met.

  • At least 5 years of experience with industry standard 3D software
  • Strong portfolio or website demonstrating technical skills.
  • Solid experience and understanding of art and animation pipelines on gaming systems.
  • Good understanding of modern rendering techniques.
  • Able to learn new packages and proprietary tools.
  • Solid organization skills with adherence to file structures, naming conventions and other protocols.
  • Able to grasp and enjoy technical work.
